About Us



Transformed by Christ Ministries is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization founded in 2008. Our mission is to be a relational and spiritual contemplative community where people from various backgrounds and traditions can come together to overcome the hindrances we all face in living fully alive, whole and free. Through our small groups, workshops, classes, retreats, and individual spiritual guidance, people are learning to view themselves and life in a new way that brings inner well-being, affecting relationships and ultimately our local community and the world.

Conversations is the name given to our space. Here we experience a safe place where anything can be said-without the fear of criticism or judgment. It is a place where masks and pretensions can be set aside. Conversations is a safe place to share our deepest desires and regrets, our doubts and questions, our joys and sorrows, and our most troubling fears. Conversations is a place of unconditional acceptance, grace, and compassion. It is a place to explore, grow, discover and experience the inner truth of who we are and who we are becoming.



Who are we?



Great question! Let me tell you a story about a great adventure . . .


Once upon a time there were five friends who were filled with a burning desire to know God for Who He Really Is. As they began to experience their awakening to the reality of God's loving presence, they began to burst with His love for others. Out of the explosion was born a ministry they called Transformed by Christ Ministries (TBC for short). It opened its doors, April 10th, 2008, at 400 S. Broadway, providing spiritual counseling and small groups. As they stepped out in faith and began ministering to others, lives were transformed a a vision born:


The release of God's Love in every heart!


Their mission was to a safe spiritual community. A spiritual community starts with people gathering together for the purpose of exploring and expanding their ever evolving understanding of God and our true spiritual nature as God created us. We are a growing and expanding spiritual community!


The ministry grew and amazingly materialized in the form of a gathering place they called Conversations, now located at 119 S. Broadway. It is a gathering place where you can attend classes, participate in small groups, workshops. Best of all it is where you can find soul friends and enjoy authentic heart to heart connections and develop soul friends that support your spiritual journey!


WHAT IS A SPIRITUAL COMMUNITY?

A spiritual community provides a safe place for learning and discovering our own unique path to the experience of our oneness with God. It is a place where your presence matters and you feel accepted just as you are. No one is corrected, or judged for we understand that we are all being transformed as our values, perceptions, and beliefs change over time. Our aim is to provide resources and programs that strengthen and support the soul's inner journey into freedom and wholeness, while honoring God's presence within each person.
