MINDFULNESS for FAMILIES
Toolbox for Practicing: Awareness, Acceptance, & Attention
Are you . . .
overewhelmed by the demands that crowd out quality family time?
wishing your home were a refuge from the fast-paced world?
wondering how to have a meaningful conversations in your family?
In our fast-paced world, families are often overwhelmed by the many activities and pressures of life day to day. It’s hard to know just what changes might simplify family life and improve its quality.Parents and grandparents want their children to grow up with a solid identity, good inner resources and coping skills. They want practical tools to help their children be successful and head off risks like reckless behavior, bullying, drug use and other poor choices.
This six session, interactive class will be a place where parents and grandparents can share with others, explore these questions, learn new skills, and feel supported. Between sessions, parents and grandparents can practice the methods and bring back their experiences and questions.
Pat Webb and Janet McEwin will be leading the class. Both are mothers and grandmothers, committed to creating classes that are relaxed and informative with practical materials you can use!
1st & 3rd Sundays, starting Sept. 20
Dates: 9/20, 10/4, 10/18, 11/1, 11/15, 12/6
